WHAT TO EXPECT

Triglav North Face climb
– Pick-up from your designated location (optional). Drive to Vrata Valley- starting point for an approach to the wall.
– Gear check and introduction in Vrata Valley.
– Gear check and introduction in Vrata Valley.
– 1,5 h of approach from Aljaž hut to the bottom of the wall.
– Start climbing which will take us from 5 to 10 hours (depending on the route chosen)
– Descent to the starting point in Vrata Valley (4h)
– If decided for a summit of Triglav, an additional fee is applied
– If accommodation is needed a Kredarica hut is at the top of the face.

CONDITIONS
Booking needs to be done at least 3 days in advance.
Necessary gear:
- Comfortable mountain sports clothes
- Windproof jackets
- Gloves
- Spare socks, underwear, and shirts
- Headwear (cap, buff)
- Summer mountaineering boots (or climbing shoe -depends on the route)
- Backpack of at least 30-40 L
- Headlamp
- Snacks
- Insulated bottle for a warm tea (1L)
- Sunscreen, suncream, toothbrush
- ID Card, cash for food and accommodation
Necessary technical gear:
- Climbing harness
- 2 screw driver carabine
- 1 x endless lanyard (120 cm)
- Helmet
In case you don’t have your technical gear, we provide it to you. Prior arrangement of the gear rental is necessary.
