DESCRIPTION
We start in Vipava Valley, a beautiful wine region with rolling hills and rocky cliffs. Here you’ll bike through villages and rivers, climb a via ferrata, and even try hike & fly – hiking up a ridge and then paragliding back down. In the evenings, we enjoy local food and wine.
Next stop is Bovec in the Soča Valley, known for its bright turquoise river. We jump into canyoning at Sušec Gorge and then go rafting on the Soča, one of the most famous rivers in Europe. Both valleys are perfect playgrounds for outdoor activities in Slovenia.
Hiking and climbing in the Julian Alps
From Bovec, we head into the Julian Alps for a hut-to-hut hike through the Triglav Lakes Valley – a magical area with lakes, meadows, and mountain huts. The highlight comes on the last day: climbing Triglav, Slovenia’s highest peak. Guided by IFMGA professionals, you can safely reach the summit or enjoy a beautiful traverse below its massive walls.
