Our multi-pitch climbing course in Slovenia is designed for climbers who want to move beyond single-pitch routes and gain confidence on bigger walls. Based in the Vipava Valley, this course gives you real rock experience, teaches essential rope systems, and helps you build the skills needed for safe and efficient climbing
What you’ll learn
During the multi-pitch climbing course in Slovenia, our guides focus on rope management, belay transitions, route finding, and movement on longer routes. In addition, you’ll practice safe communication, anchor building, and rappelling — key techniques for every aspiring multi-pitch climber.

Vipava Valley offers several multi pitch sport climbing routes in Vipava (Gradiška Tura) where we will perfomed our courses. The course takes 2 days.

Multi pitch climbing course
ELEVATION: up to 150 mLEVEL: from 3 - 5a
– Meet at the car park at the car parking in GradiÅ¡ka Tura.
– Gear check and introduction at the car park
– Our guide will guide you to the workshop place (content of the workshop):
- introduction to multi-pitch climbing
- choosing the right adventure (according to your knowledge, terrain, season, time, etc)
- specifics gear for multi-pitch climbing
- preparation for the climb (home, before the climb, during the climb)
- communication in the wall (between parties)
- knots
- setting up the anchors
- rappels (rope techniques)
- self-rescuing (rope techniques)
- basic help to co-climbers
The course lasts approximately 6 hours.
Day
02
Multi pitch climbing course
ELEVATION: up to 150 mLEVEL: 3-5a
Meeting at car parking in Camp Tura.
Today we will go through all the techniques you learned the day before and use them in the real wall while climbing.
We will climb a multi-pitch sport climbing route with an elevation of 150 m.
After the climbing, there will be a time for reflection and questions.
A wrap-up of all the techniques will be sent to you via email in a week after the course.
